12 dogs, including 11 puppies, were found abandoned in the bathroom at Point Defiance Park
A female dog and her 11 pups are now recovering from being abandoned in a bathroom at Point Defiance Park in Pierce County last week.
TACOMA, Wash. – Twelve dogs who found abandoned dogs in Tacoma have finally found their homes forever.
A pit bull and her 11 pups, discovered over a month ago in a bathroom at Point Defiance Park, were all adopted Thursday.
One person found the family first and took them to the Pierce County Humane Society in May for care.
The Pierce County Humane Society said the emancipated pit bull was found tied up in the bathroom with a suitcase containing her 11 week-old pups.
Samantha LaFontaine and her family looked after the dogs until they were adopted.
“When you go to your eternal home, it’s not sadness, but happiness that you get more love, more attention, more training and can begin the rest of your life,” said LaFontaine.
