Halesowen College dog grooming students help animal rescue

DOG grooming students at Halesowen College raised nearly £ 300 for a charity.

Students tested their skills on the college staff’s pets and made donations to The Animal House Rescue.

The charity helps neglected and unwanted cats and dogs.

It has a charity shop on Oldbury Road, Rowley Regis.

Students were able to care for a variety of dogs thanks to the staff who brought their pets.

Dog Grooming Instructor Luanne Gibbs said, “The students performed really well under pressure and the staff’s use of pets gave them the opportunity to do hands-on work and assessments.

“We are very proud of all of them.”
