BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) – Spring and summer in the Two Virginias bring new life to the area, including our four-legged friends.
The kitten and puppy season begins at the beginning of spring and summer and takes over local shelters and rescues. Animal shelters and veterinary services urge the public to control overpopulation of animals through neutering and neutering.
Veterinary services and local animal shelters both recommend rescuing animals rather than buying them from the breeder, and neutering or neutering once the animal is old enough. Due to the influx of puppies and kittens into the local animal shelters, they always ask for donations. Dry food, blankets, bedding and towels are welcome.
