There is no doubt that dogs are man’s best friend.
Just ask Ree Drummond, lifelong dog lover and proud mom, about lots of pooches. Her family’s ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma is home to several adorable Basset Hounds and two yellow Labs, as well as an endless parade of other four-legged visitors. Ree loves the Drummond dogs and has even created her own Pioneer Woman Dog Treats that her furry companions are obviously obsessed with.
Chances are, you are pampering your own beloved puppies too. After all, dogs are loyal, fun, adorable creatures, and our lives are so much better when they’re around. You deserve every treat – and more!
With that in mind, the personalized pet gift store yappy.com set out to accomplish a seemingly impossible task: to find the nation’s most spoiled dog breeds.
“Every dog deserves to be pampered and to enjoy the best possible life. said Yappy founder John Smith. “We examined our data to find out who the most spoiled pooches are based on their owner’s average spend per breed, name, and location in the US.”

The results are there and may surprise you.
Drum roll please …
According to the map, the number one most spoiled breed in the nation goes to the Doberman! The Whippet takes the bone for second place while the Great Dane pushes its way into third place.

Ree’s beloved Basset Hounds are nowhere to be found on the map, and the data suggests that the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the top dog in Oklahoma. So don’t worry if your pup isn’t on the list – that doesn’t mean you love your furry friends any less!
