LOGAN COUNTY, Oklahoma (KFOR) – Officials investigate after a tub of pups was found after being dropped 35 feet from a bridge in Oklahoma.
While one has failed, his sibling is on the path to recovery and a better life.
The three boys and four girls who survived are now at the Bella Foundation in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

“Saturday I got a call from a hectic gentleman,” said Jenny Elder of the Bella Foundation. “He said there were some pups, eight pups thrown off a bridge, and he needed help. So of course I didn’t hesitate. I said yes, bring them in. “
Although one of the pups did not survive, the others only survived minor injuries. Elder believes whoever dumped it might aim for the tub to end up in the river.
“Contact your local emergency services, county shelters, anything, but please don’t, don’t do that. It’s not right, ”Elder said.

It appears that the pups are around five weeks old and are a mix of some of the smartest breeds.
“There’s a Heeler, a Collie; I see German Shepherds in some, ”Elder said.
Since posting their story on social media, the Bella Foundation’s phones have been ringing for people hoping to add four paws to their families.
“You can’t save all of them, but I’m glad we saved these seven,” Elder said.
After vaccination, neutering and neutering, it takes about four weeks until the puppies are ready for adoption.
Whoever threw away the pups could be charged with animal cruelty.
